Allyson Felix
Allyson Michelle Felix was born in Los Angeles on November 18 1985. Paul Felix served as an ordained minister in Sun Valley at Master's Seminary. Marlean Felix taught at Balboa Magnet. Felix had an early aptitude for sports when she was attending Los Angeles Baptist High School. She discovered her sprinting talent at that moment. Felix finished second in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championships within just 10 weeks after her first attempt. Felix finished her high school education and was signed to an agreement to Adidas. In 2004 she enrolled in her first year at the University of Southern California, where her major was elementary education. Felix won her first Olympic Medal in the 2004 Summer Olympics that took place at Athens Greece. Felix set an Junior World Record running 200 metres in 22.18 second. The 2005 Helsinki World Championships saw her become the youngest woman to take home the 200 meters race. In 2007 she defended the title by beating her Jamaican rival Veronica Campbell. Felix always placed within the top three throughout her events during the Olympics held in Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo.
