Emma Stone

Emily Jean Stone, also called Emma was born in Scottsdale, Arizona on November 6, 1988. She was married to Krista Jean Stone (nee Yeager), who is a housewife, and Jeffrey Charles Stone (CEO of a firm that contracts and was its founder and CEO). Stone is of Swedish, German and British Isles descent. Stone began acting when she was a kid in Phoenix's Valley Youth Theatre. There she gave her first stage production in "The Wind in the Willows" by Kenneth Grahame. Through her teens Stone performed in of numerous stage productions before she made the choice to pursue a career in acting. She created an PowerPoint presentation, which was backed by Madonna's "Hollywood" and titled "Project Hollywood", to convince her parents to allow her to leave school and move to Los Angeles. The presentation was successful, and she and her mother relocated to LA after completing her education at home, while she spent her days auditioning. She got her TV breakthrough when she was awarded the part of Laurie Partridge in the VH1 show, a reality and talent show In Search of the Partridge Family (2004) that led to a number of smaller TV roles over the next years. Her first film role was Jules in Superbad (2007) and following a string of successful performances, her leading role as Olive in Easy A (2010) established her as a rising star. She was a student at Xavier College Preparatory, Phoenix, Arizona. Although she is known for her red hair, her true color is blonde. It was Judd Apatow who suggested she change her hair color to Superbad (2007) and she liked it so much that she chose to keep it. She convinced her parents to allow her to move to Hollywood when she reached the age of 15 by creating a PowerPoint presentation that was appropriately titled Project Hollywood. When she was 11 she started her acting career in the Valley Youth Theatre, Phoenix, AZ. There, she was a part of 16 stage productions and was a part in the comedy improv troupe. Caylee Cowan also acted at the Valley Youth Theatre.
